Announcing...

full arm cast

This winter has taken its toll on everyone including me. On January 30th I fell on the ice. I  broke my elbow and suffered some soft tissue damage to my thumb and shoulder. I'm not sure what this means in the long term, however my office will be closed for the month of February.

bledsoe braceWell, it's February 11th and I just got the cast removed. You see here my new bledsoe brace. It's time to start gaining some range of movement. I will work on this until February 25th when I return for more x-rays to see how my healing is progressing. Hopefully I will be headed to physical therapy after that. I've been told healing time for a broken elbow is 8-12 weeks. I'm shooting for the shorter end of that time. :-)Look for the office to reopen late march or early April.

OT is going well. My strength and coordination are improving. I'm looking forward to a soft reopening last week of March and starting a new schedule on April 5th.

As always please call for availability and to make an appointment.

I wish to express my sincere thanks for your patience, loyalty and supportive messages during my time away.  I look forward to hearing from you.
